I will fix formatting errors in your ebook or print manuscript

About this gig
Sometimes a manuscript has already been formatted by hand, by software, or by someone else and something isn't working. KDP or IngramSpark rejects the upload, the table of contents links to the wrong pages, fonts change halfway through the book, or there are blank pages, overlapping text, or images that jump around.
I go through the file, find what's actually causing the problem, and fix it rather than starting over from scratch (unless that turns out to be genuinely faster, in which case I'll tell you first). This covers inconsistent styles, broken headings, spacing and widow/orphan issues, table of contents errors, page number problems, and structural issues that trigger platform rejections.
You'll get a corrected file in the format you need EPUB, MOBI, or print-ready PDF along with a short summary of what was wrong and what I changed, so you understand the file going forward.
If you're not sure what's actually broken, send the file and any error message you received, and I'll take a look before you order.

FAQ
What counts as a "fix" versus a full reformat?
I'll assess the file first, most issues are targeted fixes, but I'll tell you if a rebuild would genuinely be faster or cheaper.
Do you need my original source file?
Ideally yes (the Word doc), if available, it speeds up the fix significantly.
Can you fix a specific KDP rejection error?
Yes, send the error message KDP gave you and I'll address it directly.
Can you fix both the print file and the ebook file?
Yes, that's what the Premium package covers.
Will the table of contents be rebuilt?
Yes, if it's part of the problem.
How fast is turnaround?
See delivery times per package; this gig is built for urgency.
What if the issue turns out to be bigger than expected?
I'll let you know before doing extra work outside the package scope.
