About this Gig
Raw LiDAR rarely arrives ready to use. Scans come in with noise, duplicate returns, misaligned flight lines and no usable classification, and most tools either choke on the file size or never show you what they changed.
I process point clouds with Python, PDAL and Open3D, and I document exactly what was done to your data.
What I handle:
- Noise, outlier and duplicate removal
- Ground, building and vegetation classification
- Segmentation and feature extraction
- ICP registration of overlapping scans
- DTM and DSM generation
- Conversion between .las, .laz, .e57 and .ply
- Coordinate system reprojection
- Tiling and decimation for oversized files
Large surveys are processed in tiles, so file size is not a blocker, it only affects turnaround.
You get the processed cloud in the format you need and a QC report showing point counts before and after, points removed per filter and class distribution. Standard and Premium also include the processing scripts, so you can rerun the same pipeline on future scans yourself.
Send a sample tile before ordering. I will tell you honestly whether the data supports what you want and which package fits.

FAQ
What file formats do you accept?
LAS, LAZ, E57, PLY, PTS, XYZ and PCD. If your scanner exports something else, send a sample and I will confirm before you order. Output is delivered in whichever format you need.
How large a file can you handle?
Basic covers up to 20M points and Standard up to 80M. Above that I process in tiles, so there is no hard ceiling, it only affects delivery time. Send me the file size and point count and I will quote it.
How do I send you the data?
Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or any link you prefer. Fiverr's own upload limit is small for scan data, so a shared link is usually easier. I delete source files after delivery unless you ask me to keep them.
Can you classify to standard ASPRS classes?
Yes. Ground, low, medium and high vegetation, building, water and noise, written to the standard LAS classification codes. If you need a custom class scheme, send me the codes and I will match them.
Will you tell me what was changed in my data?
Yes. Every order includes a QC report with point counts before and after, points removed per filter, class distribution and screenshots. Standard and Premium also include the processing scripts.
Do you handle georeferencing and reprojection?
Yes. I can reproject between coordinate systems and apply known transformations. If the file has no CRS defined, send whatever survey metadata you have and I will work out what it needs.
