I work independently as a Squarespace Website Designer, specializing in the design, redesign, and development of professional websites for businesses, consultants, creatives, service providers, and online brands. My work typically starts with understanding what the website needs to accomplish, then translating that into a clear page structure, navigation system, visual hierarchy, and responsive layout. I work with Squarespace templates and Fluid Engine to build and customize pages while paying close attention to typography, spacing, section composition, mobile responsiveness, and overall brand consistency. I handle projects ranging from new Squarespace websites and existing-site redesigns to landing pages, service websites, portfolios, online stores, booking-focused websites, and membership-based experiences. I also work on supporting areas such as basic on-page SEO structure, content organization, product and service presentation, forms, scheduling integrations, and website cleanup. A significant part of my role is taking information that may be incomplete, poorly organized, or visually outdated and turning it into a website that is easier to navigate and understand. I work directly with clients through the project, handling the initial requirements, design and build process, revisions, responsive checks, and final refinements. My experience has led me to approach Squarespace projects from both a design and usability perspective, not simply assembling sections, but considering how the pages, content, branding, and user journey work together.
