What access do you need to start the migration?
I will let you know exactly what access is required after reviewing your setup. This usually includes WordPress admin access and hosting or cPanel access, depending on your setup.
Can you migrate my website from AWS or DigitalOcean?
No. This service is available only for hosting providers that offer a control panel such as cPanel or similar. I do not support migrations from AWS, DigitalOcean, or other server setups without a control panel.
Can you recommend a good hosting provider?
Yes. I can suggest reliable hosting providers based on your website type, traffic needs, and budget. The final hosting choice and purchase will be made by you, and I will assist you during the setup if needed.
Will my live website be affected during the process?
Your live site will remain accessible in most cases. If a brief interruption is required, I aim to keep it minimal and handle it during low traffic periods.
Do you provide support after the migration is completed?
Yes. I provide 14 days of post-migration support to ensure everything works correctly. This includes fixing migration-related issues such as site loading, broken links, or functionality affected during transfer. New changes may require a separate order.
Can you migrate WooCommerce or membership websites?
Yes. I can migrate WooCommerce, membership, and dynamic WordPress websites. Please message me first if your site has advanced functionality.
Is email included with website migration?
Website migration does not automatically include email accounts. Email setup or migration can be discussed separately if needed.
How can I check my website size before choosing a package?
You can install the All in One WP Migration plugin, then go to Export and select File. The plugin will show your website size, which helps determine the correct package. If you are unable to do this, message me and I will guide you step by step or assist via a Zoom call.
What if my website size exceeds the package limit?
If your website size is larger than the selected package, I will inform you and suggest the best upgrade or custom offer before starting.
Can you migrate staging or development websites?
Yes. I can migrate staging, development, or testing environments to a live server or another hosting account.
