About this gig

Need a backend that just works? I'll build your REST API in Python with FastAPI and PostgreSQL, clean and documented so your frontend or mobile app can plug straight in.

What you get:

  • Well structured FastAPI project (routers, schemas, services)
  • PostgreSQL database design with SQLAlchemy and Alembic migrations
  • JWT login, user roles and permissions
  • Auto-generated Swagger / OpenAPI docs
  • Input validation and proper error handling
  • Tests for the main endpoints
  • Docker setup so it runs the same everywhere

Also available: background jobs (Celery + Redis), file uploads to S3, third-party API integrations, and deployment to AWS or your own Linux server.

I'm a full-stack developer with about 4 years of production experience, working mostly with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React, Docker and AWS.

Please message me before ordering with a short description of what you need, so I can confirm the scope and the right package.
