Can you prepare low-resolution AI artwork?
Yes. I analyze the artwork, its pixel dimensions, aspect ratio and your requested physical print size. If enlargement is required, the artwork is processed appropriately before the final 300 DPI print files are created. The achievable print size depends on the quality and dimensions of the original
What file types can I send?
Please send the original AI-generated artwork as a PNG file downloaded directly from the AI image generator. Do not send screenshots, social media copies, previously upscaled images, converted files or already print-prepared artwork.
What print size can you prepare?
Tell me the physical size you want to print. This service includes print preparation up to 90 cm (35.4 inches) on the longest side. I will analyze your original AI artwork and prepare it for the requested size when technically suitable.
Which PDF should I send to my printer?
Your package includes PDF/X-4 files with no bleed, 3 mm bleed + crop marks, and 5 mm bleed + crop marks. Use the version required by your printer. If your printer does not require bleed, the no-bleed PDF/X-4 is normally the appropriate version.
Do you create or modify the artwork itself?
This service is for professional print preparation of artwork you already have. I do not redesign or recreate your artwork. The service focuses on preparing it technically for printing, including sizing, resolution, ICC-managed CMYK, PDF/X-4, bleed and prepress quality control.
Which CMYK profile should I choose?
I offer PSO Coated v3 (FOGRA51) for coated paper, PSO Uncoated v3 (FOGRA52) for uncoated paper, and US SWOP2006 Coated for US print workflows. If your printer has provided a specific requirement, please tell me when ordering.
