I write the small programs that remove a repetitive job from your week.


Typical work:

- Merge, split, clean or convert files: XML, CSV, JSON, Excel

- Pull data from a site or an API on a schedule

- Rename, sort and back up files automatically

- Reformat an export so another system will finally accept it

- Server-side scripts, cron jobs, log processing, monitoring


I have 25+ years on Linux and UNIX and I co-founded Devuan, a Linux distribution used worldwide. I write mainly Python and Bash, also PHP, C and SQL. Scripts run on Linux, macOS or Windows, and you always get the source with comments and plain instructions for running it.


I am an Italian native speaker. If your problem involves an Italian format or portal - ISTAT, alloggiati web, fatturazione elettronica, an Agenzia delle Entrate or regional export - I can read the specification and talk it through with you in Italian.
