About this gig
No WordPress, no page builder, no theme with forty plugins. I build it in plain HTML, CSS and as much JavaScript as the page actually needs. It loads in under a second, works without a cookie banner, and will still be maintainable in five years.
What you get:
- a finished page, responsive from phone to large desktop
- the complete source code, with no licence tied to me
- fonts hosted on your own server, no calls out to Google
- a short guide so you can change the text yourself
Not included: writing your copy, sourcing photos, hosting, ongoing maintenance. Content and images come from you.
I am based in Germany and work in German or English. If you need an Impressum and a privacy page, I can build your existing legal texts into the site. That is part of the Premium package. I do not write the legal text itself: in Germany that is a legal service under section 2 RDG and it belongs to a lawyer.

I rebuild outdated website front ends in plain HTML and CSS. Your text and pictures stay, the front end gets replaced. No WordPress, no page builder, no theme with forty plugins.
You get a page that reads on a 360 px phone, loads in under a second, serves its fonts from your own server, with the full source code.
I also build small Windows tools in C++ with the Win32 API. A single exe, no Electron.
I work remotely and in writing only, no calls. Fixed price once the scope is clear. Legal pages you supply get built in. I do not write them.

FAQ
Can you also write my Impressum and privacy policy?
No. Writing legal texts for someone else is a legal service under section 2 RDG in Germany and belongs to a lawyer. What I do is build the texts you already have into the site properly and make sure both pages are reachable from every page.
Why not WordPress?
For a one page site WordPress adds a database, updates, plugins and usually a cookie banner you would not otherwise need. A static page has none of that. If you will need a blog or a shop later, say so before we start and I will tell you honestly whether this Gig fits.
Do I really get the source code?
Yes, in every package. Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript in a folder. No build step you cannot run, no licence tied to me, no account you have to keep with me. You can hand the whole thing to any other developer at any time.
