As AI artwork became more common, I noticed a new problem: authors could generate striking images, but the result often wasn't a finished book cover. I began applying traditional design skills to that gap, refining AI artwork, rebuilding typography, correcting visible artifacts where feasible, improving composition and preparing finished ebook and print covers. The AI may provide the starting image; my job is to give it the professional publishing finish.

Manuscript Formatting & Editorial Support

Before a manuscript becomes a finished book, it often needs structure and cleanup. I expanded my publishing work to help authors prepare manuscripts through formatting, consistency checks and editorial support. I focus on creating a cleaner handoff between the author's draft and the production stage, so the manuscript is easier to edit, typeset and prepare for print or ebook publication.

Cover work naturally led me inside the book. Authors needed manuscripts turned into interiors that felt intentional, readable and ready for publication. I began handling typography, chapter styling, margins, gutters, page hierarchy and print layouts for books headed to KDP and other publishing platforms. The focus is simple: make the reading experience feel professionally produced from the first page to the last.
