Where are you located?
I’m based in Staten Island, New York, and work directly with clients remotely.
Which VPS environments do you support?
I work with Ubuntu and Debian; aaPanel, Plesk, CloudPanel, CyberPanel, cPanel/WHM, and DirectAdmin; and Nginx, Apache, and OpenLiteSpeed. I also support WordPress, PHP applications, MySQL/MariaDB, SSL, DNS, backups, and staging.
What information do you need before starting?
Please send your VPS operating system, hosting provider, domain, current control panel, and a brief description of what you want done. I’ll confirm the scope and access needed before work begins.
Can you set up a new VPS from scratch?
Yes. I can configure the web environment, connect your domain, install a control panel if included in your order, set up SSL, and test that the site loads correctly.
Can you migrate an existing website to a VPS?
Yes. I can move website files and databases, update configuration, test the site, and help with the DNS transition. Please tell me the site’s size and current platform before ordering.
Can you set up WordPress staging?
Yes. I can create a staging environment for updates or testing and check that it does not interfere with the live site. Moving tested changes to production can be included in the agreed scope.
Will my website have downtime during migration?
I plan and test migrations to keep disruption as low as practical. DNS changes and differences between hosting environments can still cause a brief transition period, so I’ll explain the steps for your site in advance.
Do you configure SSL and domain DNS?
Yes. I can connect the domain, configure the necessary DNS records, install or configure an available SSL certificate, and verify that HTTPS works. Domain registration and paid certificates are separate costs.
Do you create a backup before changing a live site?
I check the available backup options and agree on a backup plan before making significant changes. If you already have backups, please tell me where they are and when the latest one was made.
Do you offer help after setup?
Yes. I can offer follow-up troubleshooting, maintenance, backups, updates, and additional site work through a separate order or an agreed package. Tell me what ongoing help you need.
