A beta reader gives big-picture feedback on story, pacing, and reader experience. I won't fix grammar or sentence-level issues, that's a copyeditor's job. Think of me as your first real reader, not your proofreader.
Do you read genres outside romance, fantasy, and thriller?
Those are my strongest genres, but message me with your manuscript details first, I'm open to other fiction if it's a good fit.
Will you tell me if my book isn't ready, even if it's harsh?
Yes. Honest feedback is the point of beta reading. I deliver it constructively, but I won't tell you something works if it doesn't, that wouldn't actually help you.
Can I see a sample of your feedback style before ordering the full package?
