A: I'll need SSH access to your VPS (IP address, port, and credentials or SSH key access). If you're not comfortable sharing root access, we can also set up a temporary sudo user for me to work with, which you can remove after the job is done.
Q: Will this cause any downtime on my server?
A: No significant downtime. Most changes (firewall rules, SSH config, Fail2ban) apply without interrupting running services. If a reboot is needed at any point, I'll coordinate the timing with you first.
Q: I already have some security measures in place — can you review and improve them?
A: Yes. Just mention your current setup in the order notes, and I'll assess what's already configured, then focus on closing any remaining gaps rather than redoing everything from scratch.
Q: What Linux distributions do you support?
A: Ubuntu, Debian, and CentOS. If you're running something else, message me before ordering to confirm compatibility.
Q: Will I still be able to access my server normally after hardening?
