About this Gig
Centos Linux 7 reached end of life on June 30, 2024. If you are running Centos Linux 7, you should migrate to a new operating system to continue receiving security updates, patches, and new features. If you remain on Centos Linux, you are at risk of exposing your organization to vulnerabilities and potential security breaches.
I will provide professional technical service to help my clients to upgrade centos servers to almalinux 8 or 9. Below is the general upgrade process.
- evaluate the current server to check potential compatibility issue post-upgrade ,like php , mysql version .etc.
- prepare upgrade execution plan and submit to the clients to review.
- make backup and start to upgrade the server, fix all issues during the upgrade
- check and test all functionality when the upgrade is done.
