On October 21, 2026, two critical PHP vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) were made public. They let attackers run code on your server without logging in. Almost every PHP version from the last 10 years is affected, including sites built on WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel and custom PHP. Updating PHP is the only complete fix.

Will updating PHP break my website?
I take a full backup first and test your plugins, theme and checkout after the update. If anything breaks, I fix it or roll back.
What access do you need?
Hosting panel (cPanel, Plesk or similar) and WordPress admin access. You can create a temporary user and remove it after the work.
My host is managed. Can you still help?
Yes. If your host controls PHP, I will check the version they run, contact them if needed and secure everything else on the site.
Do you work on non-WordPress PHP sites?
