Hey there! My name is Brendan and I'm a Producer/ Mixing & Mastering Engineer from Melbourne, Australia.
I began recording & playing in Metal bands as a teenager, and have since built my own home studio in the pursuit of helping other artists bring their vision to life.
Being a performing musician myself, I understand the importance of Communication & Professionality and aspire to treat each project with the focus & attention it deserves.
Specializing in Modern Metal Production, my approach to Mastering is contingent upon the artist's requirements - utilising techniques such as Saturation, Harmonic Excitement, EQ, Low-End Compression, Stereo Widening & more.. my main objective is to always create a consistent and powerful mix, ready to be uploaded to all streaming services.

Do you offer package deals?

What is "Reamping"
Reamping is the process of taking a dry Guitar DI signal and processing it through a real amplifier to create studio-quality, state-of-the-art tones. Here at Sumari Studios, we have some of the best industry standard gear and specialise in Modern Guitar production. (Reamping is highly recommended)
What's the difference between Mixing and Mastering?
Mixing is the process of editing & processing each individual track from your session, whereas Mastering is the final polish applied to the full-mixed track.
What can I do to ensure my track is of the best quality?
Good, tight playing, clean DI tracks, and well edited audio tracks are the main areas to focus on. I highly recommend having me reamp your guitars for the best tones possible. Just remember a mix will only be as good as the quality of the production!
Do you work with Live Drums?
Yes, absolutely! I also offer sample replacement and drum writing/programming.
What is Session Writing?
Session writing is the process of having me write & record parts for your song. Whether it be Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Synth, or Beats, we have you covered at Sumari Studios!
What genres do you work with?
I mainly specialise in Metal & Modern Production, but I have experience working across everything from Shoegaze, Eelctronic, Metal, Country, Rock, and Acoustic Artists! Feel free to send me a message to discuss your project.
How long can my track be?
Being a Prog/Tech-Death Musician, I'm happy to work on anything up to around the 7-minute mark. I'm more than happy to work on your magnum-opus, but please contact me beforehand to discuss requirements.
What is your typical turnaround time?
Being a Professional Artist, I understand the importance of deadlines and aim to have all projects returned within a 48-hour period.
