Can you customize the Excel budget planner with my own income and expense categories?
Yes. Send me your income sources, expense categories, currency and preferred colours after ordering, and I'll build the Excel budget planner around them. Categories appear as dropdown lists, so entering data stays quick and consistent.
Does the dashboard update automatically when I add expenses?
Yes. The dashboard is linked to your entries, so charts, totals and KPIs (income, spending, savings rate) refresh as soon as you add or edit a transaction. No manual formulas, refresh buttons or macros needed.
Can you include a debt payoff (snowball/avalanche) and savings tracker?
Yes, in the Standard and Premium packages. Savings goals and the bill tracker come with Standard, and the debt payoff planner (snowball or avalanche) comes with Premium. Need it in Basic? Message me first and I'll send a custom offer.
Do you also make a Google Sheets version?
Yes, on request. The Excel file is my main deliverable, and I can adapt it to Google Sheets for an extra fee. Some Excel-only features, like certain chart styles and slicers, may look slightly different, so message me first to confirm.
Which Excel versions does the budget tracker work on?
It works in Microsoft 365 and Excel 2016 or later. Tell me your Excel version and whether you use Windows or Mac when you order, and I'll build with compatible formulas. No macros are used, so files open without security warnings.
How do I start, and what do you need from me?
Message me before ordering with what you want to track (income, bills, savings, debt). After ordering, send your categories and currency. I deliver the first version within the package time, then we refine it with your revisions
Can I edit the spreadsheet myself after delivery?
Yes. I deliver the file unlocked with a short guide, so you can add categories, months and rows yourself. Formulas and the dashboard are built to expand as your data grows. If you get stuck, message me and I'll help.
Is my financial data safe?
I don't need your bank logins or account numbers. Share only your category names and sample or dummy figures. The finished workbook stays on your own computer, and I delete any files you shared once the order is complete.
