About this Gig
As a one-stop-shop, I can provide most
design services you will require for product development. Please review
my other gigs as well.

a package based on your available requirements, specifications, and needed functionality. Prices and lead-time vary accordingly.
You are enlisting the service of a firmware
engineer. I was previously an embedded software lead among a
multidisciplinary team at a Fortune 100 company. I am strongest in C
(C99, C11), but will support assembly and C++ projects.
A more complete requirements or spec will
yield a better result. My process is as follows:
1. Contact me first with initial spec. for
a free consult.
2. After we agree on requirements, functionality, the price, and the timeline, place an order.
3. I will create code, test cases, stubs,
and drivers, for your approval.
4. I will use your feedback
to refine the code / interfaces.
5. We will iterate a few times to ensure
identified use cases are met.
6. Once you are satisfied, I will add
documentation.
Any change beyond this point
is considered a revision.

FAQ
Can you add to my existing code?
Absolutely. During our consult / requirements gathering, we will establish the current code interfaces in your system that the new code will influence.
Which microcontrollers do you support?
I can work on most any. My experience is largely around Atmel, C16x (Infineon / ST), and ARM-based platforms. Arduino and Raspberry Pi are included. If you are not sure, just ask. We may need to iterate once or twice if your toolchain has a peculiarity that I cannot reproduce in my sandbox.
Can you provide PC-side support software for my embedded system?
Sure! For example, I can create an application that sends data via USB / serial ports. In a more extreme case, I have utilized the COM interface of a vendor-supplied compiler to conduct two-way transfer via JTAG. I would treat this as a Windows application. See my other gigs.
Do you support Android?
Not at this time.
