You are enlisting the service of a design
engineer with experience in data automation. I will
provide you with a Windows app that pipes and analyzes data between unrelated
applications. For example, I previously created an application that 1) Utilized a COM interface to deliver data to a micro in real-time via JTAG; 2) Captured the code results via JTAG / COM; 3) Exported the data to Excel for processing.
A more complete list of interfaces, file
spec, etc. will yield a better result. My process is as follows:
1. Contact me first with initial spec. for
a free consult.
2. After we agree on data interfaces, flow, processing, the price, and the timeline, place an order.
3. I will create a PoC for your approval.
4. I will use your feedback
to refine the app.
5. Once you are satisfied, I will create a
basic interface.
Any
change beyond this point is considered a revision.
FAQ
What interfaces are supported?
Almost anything, but I need to have access to the software that provides the interface for quality control. Some examples: I have opened MATLAB Workspaces in an app by reading the binary .mat directly. Excel files can be operated via COM. Delimited data files can be parsed.
Can you provide simulations?
Yes, if you have a pristine data stream and wish to replay it via an interface, this is a possibility. This Gig is simply a Win32 app with a focus on data and data interfaces. Automation and simulation go hand-in-hand in many cases.
My data is on the Internet. Is that okay?
It depends. I can create an application that pulls data via TCP/IP; https is okay. Price and lead-time is increased if there is a complex authentication scheme required. I will also need to be able to create an account at the specified site. Contact me with details.
