Should I contact you before ordering?
Yes. Send your business goal, Java/Spring Boot versions, relevant code and expected result. I will assess feasibility and confirm the bug or feature scope before you choose a package. Please do not send production secrets or personal customer data.
What counts as a bug or a simple endpoint?
A bug is one reproducible deviation from agreed behaviour. A simple endpoint is one HTTP method and route with bounded logic and an agreed request/response. Endpoint counts do not include unlimited business rules, integrations or investigation.
Can you work on an existing backend or microservice?
Yes. I can troubleshoot or extend an existing Spring Boot service that can be built and run in a development environment. Major version upgrades, distributed-system redesigns and cross-service changes need a separate assessment and quote.
What is included in testing and documentation?
I test the agreed behaviour and relevant failure cases. Basic includes a regression test and fix explanation. Standard and Premium include focused automated tests and API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger or a Postman collection, as agreed.
Do you include database integration or authentication?
Standard covers one database entity and Premium up to two in one agreed database. Work can use existing authentication. New login/role systems, complex schema migrations, data cleanup and external integrations require separate scope.
Will you deploy the backend to AWS or my server?
Premium includes deployment/run instructions, not live production deployment. Optional assistance covers one preconfigured staging environment after review. Cloud fees, infrastructure setup, production cutovers and ongoing monitoring are separate.
What do revisions cover and what will I receive?
You receive source changes, useful comments and a handover. Basic includes 1 revision; Standard and Premium include 2. Revisions refine the agreed deliverables, not new features or unrelated bugs. This gig serves real business software, not academic assignments.
