How long should a walkthrough be?
Shorter than you think. Completion rates fall off a cliff after about two minutes, and one task taught well beats five taught badly. Tell me the job your user is trying to finish and I will suggest the length.
Do you need access to my product?
Usually just the URL. If the screens you want shown sit behind a sign-in, a demo or sandbox login gets you a sharper result. Please never send a live account with real customer data.
Can you write the script?
Yes, on every package. You approve the script and shot list before anything is built, so nothing at delivery is a surprise. Send me your URL and what you want a user to be able to do, and I will handle the writing.
How do you make sure the steps are actually right?
Before anything is animated I send you the rebuilt screens as stills, in order, so you can confirm each one matches what your users really see. A walkthrough is only worth anything if it is accurate, and this is the step that guarantees it.
Is the voiceover AI or a human?
It is a high-quality synthetic voice. It sounds natural, and it keeps revisions fast: a wording change is a re-render, not a re-recording session. If you need a specific human voice actor, message me before ordering and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right fit.
Can I get it split into separate clips?
Yes, on Premium or as an extra. Separate per-step clips are usually what a help centre or an in-app guide actually wants, rather than one long file.
What if my site changes?
Because the video is built rather than recorded, updating a screen later is a re-render, not a re-shoot. Message me with what changed and I will quote it.
What do I actually receive?
An MP4 at 1080p. Standard adds chapter markers. Premium adds up to 4 separate step clips. Everything arrives ready to upload, with no watermark.
