Verbatim means I capture everything exactly as spoken including filler words like "um" and "uh," false starts, and repeated words. If you'd prefer a cleaner, more readable version instead, just let me know and I'll edit it for flow while keeping the meaning intact.
What if the audio quality is poor?
I'll relisten as many times as needed to catch every word. If a section is genuinely unclear, I'll mark it as [inaudible] rather than guess, so you always know the transcript is accurate. For very low-quality audio, please message me first so I can review the file and confirm pricing beforehand.
Do you handle multiple speakers and different accents?
Yes, my base package includes up to 2 speakers, and I take time upfront to listen closely and get familiar with accents before transcribing. Need more speakers? I offer that as an add-on.
What file formats do you accept and deliver?
I accept most common audio and video formats, including MP3, MP4, WAV, and M4A. Transcripts are delivered as Word or PDF documents by default, but I can also provide SRT/subtitle files or match any format you need, just ask.
How do you handle technical or industry-specific terms?
I research unfamiliar terminology as I go to make sure it's transcribed correctly. If you have a glossary, list of names, or specific terms I should know ahead of time, feel free to share it with your order. It helps me deliver an even more accurate transcript.
What if my file is longer than 10 minutes?
No problem! Extra minutes can be added to your order at checkout. Just let me know the total length of your file, and I'll make sure everything's covered.
