FAQ
Do you accept scanned PDFs?
Yes I run OCR first, then tag the document. Scanned PDFs typically take longer since there's no underlying digital text to start from.
Will it pass a 508 compliance checker?
It will pass Adobe Acrobat's built-in Accessibility Checker and PAC (PDF Accessibility Checker) with zero errors. I can't guarantee results from every third-party tool, since checkers vary slightly in what they flag.
Can you also fix the source file (Word/InDesign) instead of just the PDF?
Yes, for an additional fee — fixing accessibility at the source (e.g., a properly structured Word doc) often produces a cleaner tagged PDF on export. Message me for a quote.
What if my PDF has 100+ pages?
Message me first, I'll quote based on page count and complexity (tables, forms, images all add time).
