Do you conduct penetration testing on any website?
Only those websites and applications for which I have authorization from the client to conduct a security test. I never conduct penetration testing on any third party sites that don't have explicit authorization.
What do you require prior to testing?
I will require the URL of the website, application details, authorized scope of test, restrictions and also any test credentials if required.
Do you provide reports?
Yes, all the standard and premium testing package provides a professional PDF report containing the findings, severity, evidence and recommendation for remediation.
Do you conduct testing of login protected applications?
Yes, in case of authorized credentials and testing within scope of authentication.
Do you test API?
Yes, provided the testing of API is agreed upon in the scope of test.
Will your tests harm my website?
Though I conduct safe and controlled testing, but there will always be an operational risk associated with security testing. Thus I recommend having a backup and a window for testing.
Do you exploit vulnerabilities?
When it comes to verifying the vulnerability, where necessary, but with authorization, I conduct a safe validation of findings.
Are you able to address the vulnerabilities?
Remediation suggestions are provided in detail. If necessary, security issues can also be addressed separately from remediation.
Do you carry out retesting?
Retesting is possible after the remediation in order to check if the mentioned vulnerabilities have been fixed.
