Hello,
I am Marco, an experienced illustrator and graphic designer specializing in children's books. In this gig, I will create original illustrations for your personal or commercial board book for children age 0-3.
My style is colorful and whimsical, designed to capture the attention of children. My goal is to provide creative visual solutions that fit your project's needs.
Please contact me first before placing an order. We can discuss the storyboard and brainstorm ideas.
I will provide you with high-quality illustrations in the size you require.
Before beginning work, I will gather all the necessary information and requirements for your project.
When you send me the manuscript or specific pages, I will send you a sketch first. If revisions are necessary, they can be made at this stage. Once the sketch is approved, I will move on to coloring the illustration.
I will then provide, if the order requires it, a full PDF file of the finished book, complete with text and ready to be printed.

What is the difference between a board book and a children's book?
A board book is a type of children's book that is specifically designed for infants and toddlers. Board books are made with thick cardboard or paperboard pages, which makes them durable and easy for young children to handle. They are also usually shorter in length and have simpler illustrations and
How much will it take to get my file?
It will depend on the time in the year (for example from August to November is Christmas books time and it could take a little longer) and the complexity of the book. The average time is 12 pages per month.
Do you submit only the illustrations or the entire book?
I can do both, I can deliver only the images with a standard package or an entire book with Layout of text (provided from client), endpapers, cover and everything with the premium package.
Do you also write text?
No, text of the book should be provided by the client.
I need an entire book, do these prices apply to me?
The prices you see in this gig page apply to a single page, with bigger books I usually apply a discount, a free book cover or a free design.
Can I sell my board book with kdp?
No. Producing a board book can be a bit more complicated than producing a regular children's book because of the materials and printing process involved. Board books are made with thicker cardboard pages that are more resistant to tearing or bending. KDP doesn't offer this product at the moment.
