Most SMEs still manually export PDFs from Odoo, look up the customer's number, and send each invoice by hand. It's repetitive, error-prone, and often delayed which delays payment.
I'll build you a production-grade automation that eliminates all of it.
WHAT IT DOES:
Checks Odoo for newly posted invoices
Generates the PDF live via Odoo's report engine
Delivers it to your customer over WhatsApp
Logs every send (delivered or skipped) in PostgreSQL with a reason
WHY IT'S DIFFERENT:
Twilio doesn't accept uploaded files it wants a URL it can fetch. So instead of storing PDFs on disk (which fails on Docker/Windows and creates cleanup problems), I use a stateless second workflow that generates each PDF on demand. No files, no stale documents, no cleanup.

Do I need WhatsApp Business API already set up?
No. I'll guide you through Twilio or Meta Cloud API setup as part of the gig. If you already have an account, we'll use it. If not, I'll walk you through registering a business number.
How is this different from Odoo's built-in email invoices?
Odoo sends invoices by email. This sends them by WhatsApp, which most customers actually read. It also logs delivery status in PostgreSQL, so you have an audit trail of what was sent, to whom, and when.
Will this work with Odoo 16 or Odoo 18?
The core architecture works with Odoo 16 and later. Session auth and PDF rendering have minor differences per version. Message me with your Odoo version before ordering, and I'll confirm compatibility.
What if my invoices have special requirements (multi-currency, multiple branches, custom templates)?
