Key Responsibilities: - Manage and review month-end close processes in QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all client books. - Prepare monthly financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports, ensuring accurate reflection of company performance. - Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, journalentries, fixed assets, loans, and complex accounting scenarios in QBO. - Perform complex bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews, ensuring accuracy of cash balances and financial records. - Contribute to annual budgeting by analyzing departmental expenses, identifying variances, and recommending cost reductions. - Streamline bookkeeping workflows, SOPs, and review checklists to support scalability and operational efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax and advisory, to ensure books are always clean, current, and compliance-ready. - Support internal audit teams with detailed documentation and comprehensive explanations of accounting procedures. - Translate complex financial data into clear insights for clients, supporting informed business decision-making. - Mentor and train junior accounting staff on US GAAP standards, QuickBooks Online best practices, and efficient workflows. - Reduce errors in financial data entry by implementing rigorous multi-step review processes before submission. - Build and track KPIs and performance metrics to maintain accountability across the accounting team.
