I will do 3d cad modeling, dfm design, cfd and fea analysis in solidworks, ansys

About this gig
Hey. This is the gig for when you need the part designed and the analysis in one place, rather than paying two people and hoping the files line up.
Design side: SolidWorks parts and assemblies, sheet metal, weldments, surfacing, reverse engineering from scans or drawings, and 2D drawings with proper GD&T and a bill of materials. I design for how the part is actually made, so draft angles for moulding, wall thickness and overhangs for printing, tool access and tolerance stacks for CNC.
Analysis side: static structural, thermal, modal and CFD flow on the same model, so the geometry you get has been checked rather than assumed.
Deliverables: native SolidWorks files, STEP and IGES for manufacturing, STL for printing, PDF and DWG drawings, rendered images, and a short note on the design decisions and where the margins sit.
I have done UAV airframes, quadcopter and VTOL structures, agricultural sprayer frames, pressure vessels, gear trains, lifting devices and pedestrian bridge structures.
Message me with a sketch, a photo, a rough model or just a description and the manufacturing process. I will tell you which package fits.

FAQ
What file formats do you deliver?
I provide industry-standard formats. For manufacturing, I provide STEP (.stp) and IGES. For 3D printing, I provide STL. I also include the editable source files (SolidWorks .sldprt or .sldasm).
What is "Design for Manufacturing" (DFM)?
DFM means designing parts that are actually possible and cheap to make. I optimize draft angles for injection molding, wall thickness for 3D printing, and tolerance fits for CNC machining to save you money during production.
Do you provide 2D Technical Drawings?
Yes. Proper manufacturing requires 2D drawings. I provide PDF and DWG drawings with correct tolerancing (GD&T) and Bill of Materials (BOM) in the Standard and Premium packages.
Can we have a meeting on Zoom to discuss the detailed requirements?
Absolutely.
