Do I provide formatted editable source file?

Do I format covers to correct dimensions?

What type of images should be used in a print book? 300dpi?
Images must be 300dpi (high resolutioon) for optimal printing... Images less than 300dpi may look good but its better to use 300dpi for optimal printing.

How much at the Earliest you can deliver?
