A strong manuscript should sound like the author at their best. I work with authors to sharpen their ideas, strengthen their writing, and remove the distractions that can keep a good book from reaching its full potential. My editorial work ranges from developmental editing and manuscript assessment to line editing, copyediting, and proofreading. I look closely at story structure, pacing, character development, tone, word choice, clarity, grammar, consistency, and overall reader experience. Whether I’m refining a novel, memoir, self-help book, Christian work, or children’s book, I approach each manuscript individually and make thoughtful edits that improve the reading experience while keeping the author’s voice at the heart of the book.
