FAQ
What is large print, and what size type do you use?
Large print is bigger type and extra line spacing so older and low-vision readers can read without strain. I set body text at 16pt or 18pt. You choose. This is not a regular 11pt book with the font nudged up.
What do I need to send you?
Your final, edited Word file (DOC or DOCX), the author name and book title, and your trim size if you have one. If you do not, I will recommend a KDP size. Tell me 16pt or 18pt.
Do you format the Kindle ebook too?
Yes on Standard and Premium. You get a print-ready PDF for the large print paperback and a Kindle EPUB with a clickable table of contents. Basic is paperback PDF only.
Will Amazon KDP accept the file?
I format to KDP paperback specs: trim size, margins, gutter, fonts, and page setup. If KDP flags a layout issue on my file, I fix it at no extra cost. I do not fix problems caused by text you change after delivery.
Do you edit, proofread, or design the cover?
No. This gig is book formatting only. The manuscript should be finished and proofread before you order. I will not rewrite sentences, fix grammar, or design your cover.
My book is longer than the package word limit. What then?
Add Extra 10,000 words at checkout for each extra 10k. Example: 95,000 words on Standard (80k) needs two extras. If you are unsure of the count, message me the Word file before you order.
