Fintech

Senior Delivery Manager (Country Product Lead)

Fintech • Full-time

Mar 2025 - Jul 2026 • 1 yr 4 mos

Embedded micro-lending product for the Qatar market under central-bank oversight. 11+ parallel workstreams; three external partners; regulator review at every stage. Tech stack: In-house build (cloud, Qatar data residency) · DWH · external KYC + payment partner + Ooredoo wallet integration (UI-driven agent) Team: 20 internal across 11 streams — 5 engineers (1 FE / 2 BE / 2 DevOps) · 2 QA · 1 designer · 1 back-office · 2 CRM · 2 risk · 2 DWH · 2 notifications · 2 billing · 1 collections; 8 external partner contributors across 3 vendors (2 KYC · 3 payment · 3 Ooredoo) • Brought Shareeq Neo - Fingular’s embedded micro-lending product — from regulator framing through to live operations. Product covered KYC, regulator-mandated cooling-off windows, partner-bank integrations and post-launch fraud monitoring. • Set up the delivery rhythm from scratch: biweekly steering with the bank, weekly cross-team checkpoints with the three external partners, single tracker for inter-team dependencies. Twenty-eight of thirty integration milestones landed in the planned sprint. • Wrote the compliance documentation pack and the post-launch monitoring framework the central bank used to clear the product for live operations. • Unblocked disbursement under a missing partner API: built an automated agent that interacted directly with the Ooredoo customer UI - the bank’s compliance team signed off the workaround as part of the sandbox approval. ~300 loans issued through the QCB sandbox.

Zero critical incidents at go-live. • Enabled pre-approved card activation through in-app document upload - customers stopped having to walk into a branch to upload a salary slip. • Scoped and led eKYC integration across the credit lifecycle and digital signature for credit documents — both regulator-driven, both still in flight when I left, handed over to my successor.
