I’ll professionally format your book for print, eBook, or both, depending on your order. Formatting may include consistent typography, chapter styling, margins and gutters, headers and footers, page numbering, scene breaks, front and back matter, and other appropriate interior elements.
What do I need to provide before formatting begins?
Please provide your final, fully edited and proofread manuscript, your publishing platform (such as Amazon KDP or IngramSpark), and whether you need print, eBook, or both. For print books, I’ll need your desired trim size. Please include any front/back matter, images, decorative elements, or fonts.
Does book formatting include editing or proofreading?
No. Formatting focuses on the design, layout, and technical presentation of your finished manuscript rather than editing the text itself. Your manuscript should be fully edited and proofread before formatting begins.
Can you format books with images, tables, maps, or other special elements?
Yes! I can work with many special elements, including illustrations, maps, decorative chapter elements, letters, text messages, poetry, and other custom content. Because complex layouts can require additional design time, please contact me before ordering.
