FAQ
What software do you use and what file formats can you deliver?
Sketchup native format is SKP but also allows to export files in 3D formats: 3ds/dae/fbx/gltf/obj/stl. 2D formats: jpg/png/bmp/eps/pdf/dwg/dxf. Not all formats are imported well in other software. Please contact me first and I will send you a sample in desired format for you to check.
How do you price your work?
After discussing all necessary details I estimate project complexity, time dedicated for research, preparation and actual project creation. My preferable wage is $25-30/hour for one time gigs. For larger projects or long-term cooperation, the rate is negotiable.
What are dynamic components?
SketchUp dynamic components are reusable design elements with special attributes: parametric functions, interactivity, animation, and more. Dynamic components are quoted individually based on complexity.
