I will fix, maintain, or troubleshoot your wordpress website

About this gig
Websites break at the worst times. Usually right before a launch, right after you've stopped paying attention to them, or the moment a plugin update decides to fight with your theme.
I've been fixing this stuff for years, mostly for clients I still work with. Right now I manage a handful of ongoing WordPress sites, keeping them updated, patched, and generally not on fire. Before that I spent time building thin-client systems and an Android app that had to talk to about five different platforms at once, so "make unrelated things cooperate" is kind of my thing.
If your site's giving you a white screen, a plugin conflict, weird formatting that showed up out of nowhere, or it's just slow and you don't know why, send it over. I'll look at it properly before I say anything, then tell you what's actually wrong. Not a guess dressed up as an answer.
Things I deal with regularly:
- White screens, 500 errors, broken layouts
- Plugin and core updates that don't wreck the site
- Slow load times
- Security cleanup
- Small content or layout tweaks
- General "I don't know what's wrong, please help" situations

FAQ
Do you need my WordPress login?
Yeah, admin access at minimum. If the issue's server-side (slow hosting, weird 500 errors), I'll also need cPanel or whatever hosting panel you're using.
What if the job turns out to be bigger than expected?
I'll stop and tell you before going further, not just quietly blow past the scope and hit you with a bigger bill after. You decide if you want to extend it.
Can you fix a hacked or infected site?
Usually yes, but it depends how bad it is. Falls under the Premium package, or I'll quote it separately if it's a mess.
What hosting do you work with?
cPanel, Cloudways, WP Engine, Siteground, most of the standard ones. If it's something obscure, just ask before ordering.
How fast can you actually turn this around?
Depends on the package, but for a straightforward bug I'm usually done well before the deadline, not just scraping in at the last hour.
What if you can't fix it?
If I genuinely can't, I'll tell you straight up instead of billing for something half-done.
