If your NetSuite has gotten slow, there's usually a reason and it's usually fixable. Saved searches timing out, scheduled scripts hitting governance limits and failing, records taking too long to load, workflows running when they don't need to.

I've worked in NetSuite for 8+ years, mostly SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteCloud and integrations, on accounts in the US, EU and Middle East. The slowness is almost never one thing. It's usually a bunch of smaller problems adding up.

What I check:

• Saved searches: filters and formulas that force NetSuite to scan everything
• SuiteScript: governance usage, searches inside loops, scripts that should be Map/Reduce
• Scheduled scripts: runtime, queue contention, why they fail
• Workflows: triggers firing too often, conditions that should be entry filters
• Page and form load times
