What is Respond.io and do I need it?
Respond.io is a shared inbox that connects WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger to your CRM. You need it if more than one person answers customer messages, or if leads get lost between chat and your sales pipeline.
Do I already need a WhatsApp Business API account?
No. If you don't have one, I set it up — Meta Business verification, Cloud API connection and phone number registration included. If you already have one, I connect it to Respond.io directly.
Will the AI agent sound robotic to my customers?
No. I train the agent on your actual products, pricing and tone, and set confidence thresholds so anything it isn't sure about is handed to a human instead of guessed at.
Which CRMs can you connect?
HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, Airtable, monday.com, EngageBay and Google Sheets are direct. Anything with an API can be connected through n8n, Make.com or Zapier — tell me your CRM and I'll confirm before we start.
Is this ban-safe? I've heard WhatsApp blocks automation.
Yes, this is ban-safe. Bans come from bulk messaging non-opted-in contacts. I use the official WhatsApp Business API with approved templates and opt-in handling, so your quality rating stays green.
Do you need access to my accounts?
Limited access only. I work as an admin on your Business Manager and Respond.io workspace — never your personal password. You remove my access when the project is done.
Can you also do Twilio or 360dialog instead of Cloud API?
Yes. Cloud API is free to host and fits most businesses, Twilio suits teams already using it for SMS and voice, 360dialog fits high volume. Tell me your provider and I configure the number, sender and webhook for it.
