Designed and implemented computer vision pipelines for the characterization of physical objects using image and 3D data. Developed Deep Learning models: * Implemented diffusion models for synthetic texture generation. * Fine-tuned pre-trained models for image segmentation tasks and integrated them into transformer-based cascaded architectures. Designed and implemented 3D processing algorithms: * Developed LiDAR point cloud registration algorithms for orientation correction and 3D object alignment. Defined experimental measurement protocols and evaluated model performance using appropriate Machine Learning and Deep Learning metrics.
