I will transcribe audio and video, narrate scripts
About this Gig
Clear words make content work harder. I transcribe audio and video into clean, human checked text with captions, and record cinematic narration from your final script.
TRANSCRIPTION
Send your recording and get back a tidy transcript plus an SRT (SubRip Text) caption file, timed to your audio and read by a person before delivery. On clear audio, expect publication quality accuracy; difficult passages are flagged, never hidden. Speaker labels and timestamps come with the higher tiers.
NARRATION
You supply the final script; I perform it as a polished dramatic voiceover. You choose the voice direction (cinematic and deep, warm and friendly, energetic, or calm and steady) and approve a short sample before the full recording. My standard read is brisk, roughly 150 to 165 WPM (words per minute); ask at intake for a slower read if you want one. If you provide a reference video, I will measure its pace and match the approved sample to its speed, cadence, and tone; I will not deliver the full narration if it does not match.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED (not included): rights to your audio and script, and the script itself. Script writing is a paid extra. I never need your passwords.

FAQ
How accurate is the transcription?
On clear audio with one or two speakers, expect publication quality text, read and corrected line by line by a person. I never promise a blanket 100 percent: crosstalk, accents, music over speech and phone audio all lower accuracy. Difficult passages are marked and flagged in your delivery note.
What counts as a revision?
One consolidated revision round is included, sent as one list in one message so nothing is missed. Transcription errors and mispronunciations I introduced are corrected free and never count. New audio or a rewritten script is new work: a new order or a paid extra.
How does the voice sample approval work?
At intake, tell me the voice direction: tone, energy, pace. Unsure? Pick from: cinematic and deep, warm and friendly, energetic, calm and steady. I record a sample in that direction; you approve it in writing before the full narration is produced. One sample included; a second direction is $15.
How fast is the narration read?
My standard read runs roughly 150 to 165 WPM (words per minute), measured on the finished file against your script's word count. A render under the agreed pace is regenerated, never delivered slow. Ask at intake for a slower dramatic read and that pace becomes the target.
Can you match a voice or video I like?
Yes, within what an AI (Artificial Intelligence) voice can do. Send a reference video: I measure its pace and match the sample to its speed, cadence and tone; no match, no narration delivery. I cannot clone a voice or imitate a named performer; I match pace, cadence, tone and energy, not identity.
Do you write the narration script?
Not inside the narration packages: you supply the final script and I perform it exactly as approved. Script writing or polish is the script writing extra at $35 per 500 words, approved in writing before recording starts.
What audio quality do you need for transcription?
Clear speech recorded close to the speaker works best. If your file has heavy background noise, overlapping speakers or very low volume, send it anyway and I will tell you honestly what quality to expect before your delivery clock starts, rather than silently delivering a poor transcript.
What formats do I receive?
Transcription: a TXT and DOCX transcript plus an SRT (SubRip Text) caption file. Narration: a polished MP3 (MPEG Audio Layer 3), with a WAV (Waveform Audio File Format) master on Standard and Premium, loudness matched for spoken word at about -16 LUFS (Loudness Units Full Scale), no clipping.
Who owns the delivered files?
You do, with full commercial use of the transcript, captions and narration as delivered. You confirm at intake that you hold the rights to the audio and the script you send.
What if I send more audio or more words than my package covers?
I measure the file or count the script before the clock starts and quote the overage at the stated extra rates in writing. Nothing extra is produced before you approve its price, and there are never surprise charges.
