Oracle DB Expert Python n8n Automation 25 Years Backend Dev
About this Gig
Complex PL/SQL is where most Oracle projects get stuck.
25+ years of production PL/SQL: Advanced Queuing frameworks, Pipelined Table Functions for high-volume ETL, hundreds of packages with complex business rules.
What I build:
- PL/SQL packages with layered business logic
- Advanced Queuing (AQ): producers, consumers, multi-subscriber setups
- Pipelined Table Functions for streaming and batch processing
- ETL procedures with bulk operations (FORALL, BULK COLLECT)
- PL/SQL refactoring: clean structure, error handling, logging
When to reach out:
- Your team struggles with advanced PL/SQL patterns
- You need Oracle AQ done correctly from the start
- A batch job takes hours it should take minutes
- Business logic needs to move into the database layer
What you'll receive:
- Tested PL/SQL code (package spec + body, procedures, functions)
- Unit test queries + inline docs for complex sections
- Oracle version compatibility notes
What I need:
- Description of the business logic or processing goal
- Schema DDL (anonymized is fine)
- Oracle version + volume expectations
FAQ
We're on Oracle 11g / 12c. Is that too old?
Not at all. PL/SQL is highly stable across versions. I have experience from Oracle 9i onward. Just mention your version when ordering.
Can you work with our existing PL/SQL codebase?
Yes. For Standard and Premium, share a sample of your existing packages first and I'll review the style and conventions before starting — so the new code fits what's already there.
We use Advanced Queuing but it's not working the way we expected. Can you fix it?
AQ troubleshooting and refactoring is something I've done professionally. Describe the problem in a message before ordering and I'll confirm if it's in scope.
Do you sign NDAs for work with proprietary business logic?
Yes. For anything involving sensitive business rules, a simple NDA is standard practice. We can agree on this before you share any code or schema.
Can you help with Oracle Forms as well?
Yes — Oracle Forms with PL/SQL is something I've worked with. If Forms is part of your scope, mention it upfront so we can size the package correctly.
