About this Gig
Turn a clear solo melody into an editable MIDI file for your music project.
I work with short, isolated melodic recordings and check the generated notes against your audio. I correct identifiable pitch, timing and note-length errors within the agreed scope.
You receive a MIDI file and a brief note explaining the work completed. Choose natural timing or an agreed quantized grid before I start.
Packages cover one monophonic part, subject to both the duration and note limits. AI-assisted transcription is followed by manual checking. MIDI contains note information; it does not reproduce your original instrument sound.
Full mixes, dense chords, sheet music, lyrics and new arrangements are not included. Please send audio you own or are authorized to have transcribed.
Message me with your recording and target software before ordering so I can confirm that the file is suitable.

FAQ
What audio should I send?
A clear WAV or MP3 containing one isolated melody. Send the original recording if available and identify the exact section you need.
Can you transcribe a full song with several instruments?
These packages cover one clear monophonic part. Send an isolated stem for review. Full-band reconstruction is outside this gig.
Will the MIDI sound identical to my recording?
No. MIDI stores note and performance information. The sound depends on the instrument or sound library used to play it.
Do you use AI?
I may use AI to create the initial draft, followed by manual checks and corrections. Please discuss any non-AI requirement before ordering.
Can you preserve my timing?
Choose expressive timing or a quantized version when ordering. Significant tempo changes or ambiguous rhythms need a separate review.
What does a revision include?
Corrections to the same source and agreed brief. A different recording, added instruments or a new arrangement requires a separate quote.
