I will write your game design document gdd and branching narrative
Game Writer, Narrative Designer
About this Gig
I write the documents that make a game buildable: the Game Design Document, the systems and progression spec, the branching dialogue, and the pitch that gets it funded.
A GDD has to hold a mechanic, a narrative, and a production plan in one structure a team can actually build from no "we'll figure this out later." I write documents built around that constraint, not around what looks good in a pitch.
What "branching dialogue" means here: a representative sample scene showing structure and choice-consequence logic, including convergence, the part that keeps a branching scene producible, not just a tree of choices. Full dialogue scripts are scoped separately.
Portfolio includes a design document excerpt from a live production, and a branching dialogue scene you can read as written or play yourself, built in Ink.
Premium includes a branching dialogue sample and a lightweight production plan. For deeper scope, a full dialogue script, a detailed production roadmap, or a publisher pitch script, see the extras above.
Every line of prose is written by me. AI is used for research and structural work only, never as a drafting method.

FAQ
Do you design gameplay, or just write documentation?
I write the documents — GDDs, narrative frameworks, pitch scripts. Systems and mechanics are usually developed collaboratively with your team; I structure and document them clearly enough to build from.
I don't have a GDD yet, just an idea. Can you start from scratch?
Yes — the Basic package (Concept Blueprint) is built for that: genre, high concept, audience, and core pillars before you commit to a full document.
Will you write all my game's dialogue?
Premium includes one branching dialogue sample (~15 exchanges) showing structure and convergence. Full dialogue scripts are quoted separately — see the "Dialogue script" extra or message me for a custom quote.
What's the difference between the included production plan and the "Detailed roadmap" extra?
The included plan is a lightweight build-order outline — what to build first, key milestones, scope boundaries. The extra adds a full timeline with resourcing, closer to a project-management document.
Can you write branching dialogue in Twine, Yarn, or another tool instead of Ink?
Ink is my primary tool, and the portfolio sample demonstrates that. I can adapt to another format if your pipeline requires it — message me first to confirm scope.
Do you use AI to write?
Every line of prose is written by me. I use AI for research and structural work only, never as a drafting method.
How fast can you deliver?
Standard delivery times are listed per package. Extra fast delivery is available as an add-on if your timeline is tighter.
What made you write a game screenplay for a dramaturgy thesis instead of a film script?
Because branching structure is the harder problem. A film script has one path; you're just trying to make it good. An interactive script has dozens, and every one of them has to feel inevitable. I wanted to know if I could do that before I called myself a narrative designer.
