About this gig
Welcome to my Game Testing & Localization Gig!
As a dev, I know handing your passion project over for criticism is nerve-wracking. That's why I test differently. I am Tim: a native Dutch speaker, English translator, and indie developer. I don't just see bugs; I understand the development pipeline.
Furthermore, my past career as a youth worker trained me to give highly constructive and supportive feedback. Im not here to tear your hard work down, but to help build it up.
What I test:
- QA & Bugs: Actively hunting for glitches and soft-locks.
- Gameplay: Is the core loop fun, balanced, and engaging?
- UI/UX: Are the menus intuitive and user-friendly?
- Localization (EN/NL): Checking text, dialogue, and UI-fit so your game feels completely natural to Dutch players.
What you get: A detailed, well-structured QA report with honest impressions and actionable steps for improvement. From a 30-minute first-impression test to a 2-hour deep dive with localization checks, I provide reliable results.
Feel free to message me for custom requests.

Hi!
I'm Tim, a native Dutch speaker and passionate indie game developer. With a solid background in full-stack development, I bring a technical perspective to translation and QA testing. I don't just speak the languages; I understand the development pipeline. Beyond tech, my past career as a youth worker deeply ingrained in me the value of constructive communication. I'm not here to tear your hard work down, but to help build it up with supportive, actionable feedback. Let's elevate your game together!

FAQ
Will you keep my game confidential? Are you open to signing an NDA?
Absolutely. As a developer myself, I understand how crucial it is to protect your unreleased project. I treat all files with strict confidentiality and I am more than happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before we begin.
How will you deliver the feedback and bug reports?
I will provide a clear, well-structured QA report in PDF or Word format (or Google Docs if you prefer). It will include prioritized lists of bugs, localization feedback, and actionable suggestions based on the package you chose.
What do you need from me to get started?
I will need a playable build of your game (e.g., a Steam key, an itch.io password, or a direct .exe download). If you want me to check your localization, providing a text file or spreadsheet with the English/Dutch text strings is highly appreciated!
Do you also translate Steam store pages or devlogs?
Yes! My localization services go beyond just the in-game UI. I can also translate your Steam store page, promotional material, or developer logs to ensure your marketing reaches the Dutch audience perfectly. Feel free to message me for a custom offer.
What platforms do you test games on?
I primarily test on PC (Windows) and Web/Browser based games. If you have an Android mobile game, please send me a message beforehand so we can discuss the possibilities!

Working with Tim was a breeze. He had a clear understanding of what I was trying to achieve and was very willing to think along. Instead of blindly completing the 2h of play I ordered, he reached out midway when he got stuck, giving me the opportunity to help out, to get the most results out of the rest...
