I will alpha read a sample up to 3,000 words

This gig will allow you to see the feedback I provide along with seeing if we work well together before committing to having your whole book alpha read.

This 3,000 word count will usually cover the first couple of chapters.

Files are preferred to be in word document, so that I can use track changes, and add comments. Google docs files are also acceptable.

You will receive a report which may include the following:

• How I feel about the character. e.g. Do I dislike the bad guy?
• Is the pace of the story good; is it too slow or have things been glossed over.
• Phrases or words that catch my eye and being overused.
• Does the speech seem realistic, stilted, overly formal etc.

Please bear in mind that as I only have part of the story available, comments relating to the resolution of situations or plot holes can't be made for the sample read.

This is not an editing gig, however, if I come across something that is obviously wrong I will amend, using the track changes.
