As a beta reader, I read your manuscript the way your future audience will and tell you what actually works and what doesn't.

Unlike a developmental edit, beta reading isn't about rewriting your structure. It's honest, reader-level feedback: where I got hooked, where I got bored, where I got confused, and whether your characters/arguments land the way you intended.

I work with both literary fiction and nonfiction/academic manuscripts.

What you get:

• A full read-through as an engaged reader (not a line editor)
• Pacing and engagement notes (where the story/argument drags or races)
• Character/logic consistency flags
• Emotional reaction notes what I felt, when, and why
• A summary letter with overall impressions and top 3-5 recommendations

What this is NOT:

• Line editing or proofreading (typos, grammar)
• A structural rewrite (that's my developmental editing gig)
• A guarantee of publication success
