I will developmentally edit your fiction manuscript

My job is to help ensure your big picture details and elements are in place before you move to line/copy editing and proofreading! I read through your manuscript multiple times.

AFTER 1ST READ:

I will provide you with a detailed, in-depth report on the following:

First impressions, flow, pace, character development, readability, consistency in character descriptions, use of past vs present tense, first vs third person POV.

I will also provide chapter by chapter notes of suggested edits, rewordings, or inconsistencies.

If using Google Docs, I will leave comments as well directly on the Doc.

AFTER 2ND READ:

I will update my report and include locations of all recommended hooks to use for marketing and social media posting.

KEY THINGS IM LOOKING FOR:

• Plot holes
• Inconsistencies with character descriptions.
• Setting: Ensuring it is detailed enough to help set the scene.
• Smut: If there is spice in your story, I will make sure it is realistic and physically possible
• YA: If your story is YA, I will make sure it is appropriate for your younger audience.
• Consistent use of past and present tense
• Consistent use of 1st vs 3rd person. (Please choose one or the other, not both!)
