Yes, subject to the store's size and complexity. Product data, customer records, and orders require careful handling. Please contact me first so I can assess the database, payment integrations, and migration requirements.
Can you clone a WordPress website to another domain?
Yes. I can duplicate the website files and database, update the relevant URLs, and check the cloned website. You must have authorization to copy the source website and its content.
Will my emails be transferred when you move my website?
Website migration does not automatically transfer email accounts or mailbox contents. Email migration may require a separate scope, and DNS records such as MX records must be handled carefully to avoid interrupting email delivery.
Can you move my website from localhost to live hosting?
Yes. I can help migrate a local WordPress installation to compatible live hosting, configure the site URLs, and check database connectivity and essential functionality.
Can you migrate a website if I no longer have access to the old hosting account?
It depends on what access remains. A complete backup, database export, or website files may be sufficient. Without the necessary files or account access, a complete migration may not be possible.
Can you transfer my domain from GoDaddy to another registrar?
I can guide or assist with the registrar transfer process, subject to the registrar's rules and the package scope. You must control the domain and authorize the transfer. Domain transfers may require an unlock code and approval.
Will my website go offline during migration?
I will plan the migration to reduce disruption where possible. However, downtime can depend on DNS propagation, hosting configuration, SSL setup, and the method used. Zero downtime cannot be guaranteed in every situation.
Can you recover a hacked or malware-infected WordPress website from a backup?
I can assess available backups and help restore a clean, usable copy if suitable files are available. Malware investigation, security hardening, and removal of malicious code may require a separate service.
