What file formats do you accept?
I work with most point cloud formats — .XYZ, .E57, .PTS, .RCP/.RCS, .LAS, .PLY, and Matterport Matterpack data. If you have a different format, send me a sample and I’ll confirm compatibility.
What software do you use?
Primarily Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and Recap for processing. For point cloud cleanup and registration — CloudCompare, Recap Pro, or RealityCapture, depending on the source.
What’s the accuracy level of your models?
Typically within ±5–10 mm, depending on scan density and quality. Higher accuracy (up to ±2 mm) can be achieved if the scan resolution supports it.
Can you model interiors and MEP elements too?
Yes. I can include architectural, structural, and basic MEP geometry. For complex MEP systems or fabrication-level detail, please send reference scans or floor plans for an accurate quote.
What Level of Detail (LOD) can you provide?
I deliver LOD100 to LOD400, depending on your requirements — from massing models for early design to fully detailed BIM geometry for construction documentation.
How should I share large point cloud files?
You can upload via Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or any preferred file-sharing platform. Just make sure the link is accessible for download.
Can you work with incomplete or noisy scans?
Yes - I specialize in cleaning and reconstructing data. However, the final accuracy depends on the completeness of the source scan
What’s the typical turnaround time?
It depends on project size and complexity. A small residential model may take 2–3 days, while a large commercial site could take 1–2 weeks. I’ll give you an exact timeline after reviewing your data.
