Preparing for an Amazon interview?
I'm a former Amazon Bar Raiser with 400+ interviews across software engineering, applied and research science, engineering management, programme management and other technical roles. I worked with hiring managers across many teams and led debriefs where hiring decisions were made.
My mocks are realistic and evidence-focused. I spend about 15 minutes on each competency or Leadership Principle area, using probing follow-ups to test depth, ownership, judgement, scale and results.
I review your CV, target role and job description before the call, so no session time is used for briefing. You can choose the areas to practise or leave the selection to me based on your role and level.
After each mock, I review my notes and provide a considered written assessment covering strengths, concerns, missing evidence and priority improvements.
You'll understand how your answers are likely to land and exactly what to improve before the real interview.

What is the difference between your packages?
Basic is a 30 minute mock covering two competencies, followed by written feedback. Standard is a 45 minute mock covering three competencies, followed by a 15 minute debrief and written feedback. Premium includes two Standard sessions so you can practise improvements and measure progress.
Will you tailor the interview to my role?
Yes. I review your CV, target role, level and job description before the call. You can nominate the competencies or Leadership Principles you want to practise, or leave the selection to me based on the information you provide.
Does this include coding, system design or other technical questions?
No. This service focuses on behavioural, Leadership Principles and hiring manager style interviews. I may ask follow up questions about technical work described in your answers, but I will not conduct coding exercises, technical tests or a full system design interview.
Is this only for Amazon candidates?
No. My direct experience is with Amazon, so the service is especially relevant to Amazon Leadership Principles interviews. The same skills, including clear evidence, ownership, judgement and measurable impact, are valuable in behavioural interviews at many other companies.
