Messy spreadsheet blocking your import? I clean and standardize your CSV or Excel data and give you a change log showing exactly what changed.
What I fix:
- Consistent, import-friendly column headers
- Extra spaces; N/A, null and none turned into blanks
- Mixed dates standardized to YYYY-MM-DD
- Currency symbols, thousand separators and (brackets) converted to numbers
- Inconsistent capitalization
- Exact duplicate rows removed
What you get:
- Cleaned Excel (Cleaned sheet + Change log sheet) and CSV
- Re-runnable Python script with setup notes (Standard and Premium)
How I work:
- I never guess silently. Values I cannot parse safely stay unchanged and are listed in the change log.
- For ambiguous dates like 03/04/2024, I ask your format before starting.
- Files are processed only on my computer, not shared, and deleted 14 days after delivery.
Do NOT send ID numbers, passwords or payment card numbers. Remove those columns first.
Message me before ordering with 5 to 10 sample rows (sensitive values removed) so I can confirm scope and price.
FAQ
Do you change my original file?
Never. You get new files; your original stays as it is.
What about values you can't fix?
They stay untouched and appear in the change log, so nothing is changed silently.
Can you handle Excel files?
Yes, send .xlsx or .csv.
Is my data safe?
Processed only on my computer, not shared, deleted 14 days after delivery. Please do not send ID or payment details.
Can you fix wrong data (e.g. a wrong price)?
I standardize format and structure. I don't judge whether the business content is correct, but I can flag suspicious rows on request in Premium.
