FAQ
What is a Peppol Access Point and do I need one?
A Peppol Access Point (AP) is a certified gateway that connects your system to the Peppol network, allowing you to exchange electronic documents (invoices, orders, etc.) with any other Peppol participant globally. If your customers or suppliers require Peppol-compliant e-invoicing, or if a governmen
Can you help me even if I am not using C#?
For consultancy and architecture questions, absolutely — the Peppol standards are language-agnostic and my advice applies regardless of your stack. For development work, my primary expertise is C# / .NET. If you use Java or Python I can guide you, but I will not deliver production code in those
What is the difference between AS4 and AS2 in Peppol?
Both are messaging protocols used to transport Peppol documents securely. AS4 (eDelivery profile) is the newer, mandatory protocol for new Peppol Access Points and offers improved security and standards alignment. AS2 is the older protocol still used by some legacy APs.
How long does a typical Peppol integration take?
A minimal proof-of-concept Access Point (send + receive a Peppol invoice) in C# can be built in 2–4 weeks by an experienced developer. A production-ready, certified AP with SMP registration, full document validation, and error handling typically takes 2–4 months.
Do you provide support after delivery?
Each package includes one round of revisions. For ongoing support, message me to discuss a retainer or follow-up order. I am happy to be a long-term technical partner for your Peppol implementation.
Can you help with PINT (Peppol International)?
Yes. PINT is the Peppol International model for cross-border e-invoicing (covering Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, and others). I can advise on PINT document structure, country-specific extensions, and implementation in C#.
